Twined, twill (diagonal), S-twist, rightward work direction, outside work face, coiled over rim. Eight rows of three-strand twining at the start and two rows at the rim. Start is 3x3 crossed and wrapped with dogbane cordage, S-twist. Damaged rim, was probably wrapped. Willow warp and weft. Two carrying handles in dogbane cordage, S-twist, split ply woven. Carrying cord of Z-twist cordage in possibly a desert bark.
