Description: 

Plain twined, rightward work direction, outside work face. Start is two bundles twined in an oval crossed with a similar grouping inside. Three-strand twining: twelve rows from the start, four rows an inch above, and five rows below rim. Two rows of open crossed warps below the three-strand twining. Rim is a vertical braid twined down to the inside with paired warps. Hazel stick warp, pine root weft, with a pattern of bands done in darker-dyed pine root. Two hazel interior rim-sticks are detached but were originally tied with commercial string and buckskin thongs. Carrying strap of commercial (flax?) string in a fishtail braid. Old partial tag reads "92."
