Plain open twining and twill twining. Juncus rush warp and weft. Base is 4x4 crossed, one row around four, twined in pairs immediately. Base is very finely woven. Sides are a mix of open twining in twill and plain over paired warps. Three rows of three-strand twining on base and two rows in mud-dyed spruce root below rim. One row of crossed warps below rim (two over two). Horizontal braided rim, double-braided handle.
