Basket, Cylindrical Twined Bag

Description: 

"Sally" bag. Woven upright (opening at the top), in a rightward work direction (right-handed), Z-twist weft. Base warp is in jute twine, weft is jute and sisal twine. The design band is dark retted willow bark, and light colored corn husk, in plain and wrapped twine overlay. The diamonds are done in plain twine, switching to wrapped twining in white corn husk. Band of cattail in plain twine below and above the design band.
