Basket, Cup

Basket-covered drinking glass. Sides are full turn (wrapped) twining, Z-twist, rightward work direction, outside work face. Warp and weft pull cord are cattail, wrappers are bear grass and pink, blue, and red dyed raffia. Base is plain twining, Z-twist. Turn-up is a European style "foot", one warp under the next warp and up. Single row of plain twining above the foot. Design is an American flag with three stars, with two geometric bands above and below. Made by Emma Adams.
