Plain twining, S-twist, over groups of rushes, two to four rushes per group. Juncus rush warp and weft. Start is two separately wrapped bundles, crossed. Three-strand twill twining on base (unusual). Three rows of three-strand twining at the turn-up and two below the rim. Design band in two face overlay of red wool and white bear grass. Horizontal braided rim, no handle. Made by Kitty Tom.
