Plain twining, Z-twist, rightward work direction, outside work face. Start is two small bundles, cross-wrapped. Spruce root warp and weft on base. A few cattail warps can be seen at rim. Side wefts are cattail or sweetgrass sedge. One face overlay is bear grass and black and blue sea grass. Seed beads in red, blue, green, and white triangles, threaded onto the weft strands. Rim: every other warp is clipped off, remaining warps are twined down to the inside.
