Description: 

Full turn (wrapped) twining with overlay. One row of three-strand twining at the turn-up and one below the rim. Clipped rim. Overlay in white bear grass. Hazel stick warps, spruce root weft. Collector's journal reads "Rogue River Plate/Old Kitty/April 1896/ Price 1.25/ Rogue River Plate from Old Kitty a sharp trader of the Grande Ronde Agency." Old tag reads "17-1896 Rogue River plate."
