Basket, Cylindrical Twined Bag

Description: 

"Sally" bag. Plain twining, Z-twist. Woven mouth up, rightward work direction. Warp is two-ply S-twist willow bark. Start has horsehair weft, transitioning to willow bark (dark color) and cattail (light color).

Old tag reads "D. Cox 1902."
