Basket, Cylindrical Twined Bag

"Sally" bag. Plain twining and full turn (wrapped) twining. Woven mouth up in a rightward work direction, Z-twist. Warps are sisal twine or another large fiber. Base is plain twining. Weft in base is a Z-twist cordage of sisal twine or similar material, then switches to non-corded cattail (or another marsh leaf) near the turn-up. Design area is all full turn (wrapped) twining in corn husk and dyed willow bark; the willow is corded Z-twist. Thin buckskin rim and a twisted buckskin loop, both originally with red ochre design, tied with a three-ply linen thread.
