Basket, Berry

Coiling, bundle foundation. Oval base, cedar root warp and weft, rightward work direction. Rough split stitches. Imbricated in sections of crosses in white and faded purple, blue, and red. Rim has herringbone overstitching. No loops. A canvas cloth strip is sewn to inside of rim. There was buckskin before the canvas, but only fragments remain. Loop of cotton string on side near base.
