Plain twining, S-twist, outside work face, rightward work direction. Juncus rush warp and weft. Base is two crossed bundles, one row over the whole group, then over pairs. Plain twining over grouped warps, two to four per group. Four rows of three-strand twining at the turn-up, two rows at the design band, three rows near the rim. Design band is roughly overlaid with the basal leaf sheath of the Juncus rush (brown); one weft of the three-strand twining is overlaid. Horizontal braided rim.
