Mostly twill (diagonal twining with plain twining near base and below rim, and plain twining over paired warps. Z-twist, rightward work direction, outside work face. Tule cordage warp, Z-twist. Weft is tule and cattail mix. Start is three twined bundles in an oval. One row of open crossed pairs of warps below the rim. Rim is twined down to the inside, and tied down at the end. Red ochre stain on side.
