Basket

Two-rod and wrapped coiling in Klickitat style. Leftward work direction, interior split stitches, weft additions split. Two-rod coiling, with top rod split about half of the time, mostly on interior. Warp and weft all split willow. Oval start, turning to round. Four areas of three rows x three-four stitches of wrapped coiling (middle warp and possibly other two may have been dyed, now faded). Two-strand diagonal stitching over rim. Two small loop handles, one now missing; may have also had a bail handle. May have been made by same community or person as 1-789.
